Horizon Europe project TEMA expands its community by joining the Union Civil Protection Knowledge Network.
About the Union Civil Protection Knowledge Network
Launched in December 2021, the Union Civil Protection Knowledge Network is one of the tools of the Union Civil Protection Mechanism and its community. It was set up to strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of civil protection training and exercises, promote innovation and dialogue, and enhance cooperation between Member States’ national civil protection authorities.
It's an inclusive community whose members can learn from each other, share their knowledge, and work together. [1]
TEMA and the Union Civil Protection Knowledge Network
Following a very successful presence in the 8th European Civil Protection Forum that took place in Brussels on 4-5 June 2024, the TEMA project has joined the online community of the Union Civil Protection Knowledge Network. You can visit TEMA's online project space here.
Furthermore, a series of articles focusing on TEMA pilots have been published, aiming to introduce the online community to the practical impact of the technological innovations offered by TEMA, including TEMA's support in enhancing situational awareness, introducing interoperable technologies that integrate into various aspects of disaster management and changing the game in fire field operations via the digital twins technology.
