Seeing Innovation in Action: TEMA Demonstrated at INTERSCHUTZ 2026

The TEMA project was presented at INTERSCHUTZ 2026, the world’s leading trade fair for firefighting, rescue services and civil protection, held in Hannover, Germany, from 01 to 06 June 2026. With around 140,000 visitors from 144 countries, the event sent a clear message that the safety and resilience of our societies are among the defining issues of our time.
The demonstration of the TEMA platform was carried out by the Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) team at the stand of the German Red Cross (DRK). Visitors had the opportunity to see the latest developments of the project through a live demonstration and learn more about how the platform can support better situation awareness and decision-making during complex emergency situations.
Taking part in INTERSCHUTZ was a valuable opportunity to connect directly with practitioners and end users, receive feedback, and discuss current challenges faced by emergency responders and crisis management organizations. It was also a chance to show end users what current research and innovation activities in disaster management are working on and how new solutions can support future operational needs.
