TEMA Open Demo Days Extended Until 14 June

TEMA Open Demo Days - 14 June extension

Due to the positive response from the emergency management community, the TEMA Open Demo Days have been extended until 14 June 2026.

The extension provides additional time for civil protection professionals, first responders, public authorities and crisis management stakeholders across Europe to access and explore the TEMA SmartDesk Platform through realistic operational scenarios.

Organised within the Horizon Europe project TEMA (Trusted Extremely Precise Mapping and Prediction for Emergency Management), the Open Demo Days offer participants the opportunity to test advanced decision-support technologies designed to support emergency preparedness, situational awareness, operational coordination and crisis response.

Participants can explore a range of platform functionalities, including:

  • situational awareness and monitoring
  • predictive mapping and forecasting
  • operational coordination workflows
  • decision-support capabilities
  • integrated crisis data visualisation

A key feature of the Open Demo Days is the opportunity to work on the Posada 2023 wildfire scenario, based on the real wildfire that affected Sardinia and recently served as the basis for the latest TEMA pilot exercise.

Participation remains free of charge and registrations will continue to be accepted until the end of the initiative.

The TEMA Open Demo Days will now conclude on Sunday 14 June 2026.
