TEMA is an Al-enabled Natural Disaster Management platform that will support rescuers in natural disaster response and management. By collecting and combining data from satellites, drones, sensors and the web, TEMA improves phenomenon modeling performance and analytics. This results in interactive visualisation for better situational awareness and decision support. In TEMA, an extended reality interface will be developed for integrating and visualising live maps, predictions, explanations and recommendations.

The webinar AI4Sustainability, convened by The Lisbon Council in the scope of the Horizon Europe project TEMA on 15 December 2023, seeks to open the discussion about the roles of AI as a tool for environmental and climate action.  Participating projects: TEMA, Crexdata, DECIDO, ExtremeXP and interTwin.

TEMA is an EU-funded project that will make it easier for public authorities to coordinate disaster response to save lives and properties.

See highlights from the large-scale wildfire simulation held in Montiferru, Sardinia, as part of TEMA, a project funded by Horizon Europe. Over 100 participant, including civil protection agencies, firefighters and tech partners, came together to test next-generation emergency management tools in a real-world scenario. From aerial monitoring to digital coordination platforms, the TEMA platform supports faster, smarter responses to wildfires and other climate-driven emergencies.
