European Big Data Value Forum
Description
European Big Data Value Forum is BDVA’s flagship event, bringing the whole European data-driven AI research and innovation community together to share knowledge, collaborate and celebrate achievements. This year’s event will take place from 2-4 October 2024 in Budapest, Hungary. EBDVF 2024 is organised in collaboration with local partners.
TEMA participates in the session "Emergency Management: Challenges and Solutions". In this session, we will explore how extreme data can be harnessed to improve natural disaster management and critical action planning. Using the case studies of two groundbreaking European projects, TEMA and AI.BIG cluster partner CREXDATA, we will showcase how advanced data analytics, real-time processing, and innovative technologies (in particular, AI-based services) can be leveraged to predict, manage, and mitigate the impact of risk event. Attendees will gain insights into the challenges and solutions these projects offer, and how their methodologies can be applied to other domains facing extreme data challenges.
